One of Fischer-Bush Equipment Company's customers required custom pumping equipment for a plastic water line transfer application. Fischer-Bush has many customers in the construction, mining, gas, and energy markets that know to turn to the venerable and highly-experienced company for projects with demanding requirements. The goal here was to move water to a pad site. Following the customer's specifications, Fischer-Bush's fabrication team of designers, mechanics, and welders selected two 10" X 8" vacuum assisted pumps to transfer the water. The two pumps were deployed throughout the line. The first was located at the source of the water at an elevation of 1,200', while the second pump was placed .075 miles from the water source at an elevation of 1,175'. These two plastic line pumps were able to drive 750 gallons per minute of water through an 8" diameter pipe located 13,940' away from the source of the water.
