A client needed pumping equipment for a long line water transfer project, all at tricky low volumes of flow. Working with customer specifications and elevations ranging from a minimum of 1,054' to a maximum of 1,390', the Fischer-Bush fabrication team of engineers, mechanics, and welders elected to go with a 6" X 6" self-priming booster pump. The pump slowly moved the water through a 12" plastic pipe, transferring it to a flow delivery location 8,070' away from the source of the water. This entire assembly of pump and pipe was counted on to move the water at a minimal flow of only 30 barrels per minute.
